--------- i wanted a wallpaper to match the aqua graphite theme, and had a hard time finding one that i liked... so i made one. it fits my desktop's resolution (1280 x 1024). note me for other resolutions. if enough people want it, i'll make a multi-res pack. thanks to *EmotionalSanctuary for the stock. |

 reports, 1d 23h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. what program did you use to help you make this. and what tools? if i may ask

all the work on angelic is done in photoshop (cs)
a bit of desaturation, a bit of masking.
background has a slight texture (made with one of the default brushes, don't remember which) but you can't really see that at lower resolutions anyway.
the wings were made with the pen tool, they are nearly opaque shapes with a white outer glow.
in fact, almost everything was pen tool and outer glows. not too tough, if you want to give it a shot.
